Michigan has amazing cider mills! A few of our residents here exploring one of local cider mills and enjoying the fall 🍂🍁

Some highlights from didactics and practice ultra sound some of our residents participated in. Was able to learn more about spinal cord Medical complications and learn from fellow residents.

Didactics are always fun when you get to play with cool prosthetics/orthotics and learn about cool stuff! Spinal cord injury is critical to PM&R education so excited to learn from one our core faculty (and TBI PD) about the ASIA exam!

A couple of our residents were able to volunteer at the Detroit Free Press marathon medical tent this past weekend. Great opportunity help athletes participating and work with other PM&R professionals. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This week we learned about ethics and the role they can play in better care for patients. We also were able to learn more about prosthetics and receive hands on time with the devices! 🦾🦿

Enjoyed learning about abx stewardship and pathological gate. And sometimes we’re in sync with our fashion and have to document 😁

We were able to receive great ultrasound training in didactics last week. Ultrasound can be a great tool to assist in diagnosing/confirming clinical findings!

Next on #CustomTaylored #InternSpotlight with Kaitlyn Hansen, MD PGY1 interested in #interventionalspine and #MSK. She loves traveling, trying new foods and cooking. A unique she tried was in Morocco where she tried a minced beef organ sandwich 🥪
