S4 Historians visited buildings and streets in Glasgow Merchant City area that were built with money from and named after Tobacco Lords who made their fortunes during the Atlantic Slave Trade. A powerful learning experience, highlighting Glasgows past! @CHS_History

Our S5 pupils had an unforgettable experience during their History trip to London. The itinerary included visits to the Tower of London, museum tours, excursion to Camden Market and Oxford Street and a breathtaking performance of The Lion King! @CHS_History

Exactly 71 years since Op Hurricane, school children across the UK today will learn about the nuclear deterrent programme in the OVA-funded @Big_Ideas_Co live digital schools day π

Some of our Higher and S3 Historians had a fantastic opportunity interviewing a Nuclear Test Veteran. John and David shared their experiences as part of @Big_Ideas_Co . All pupils were a credit to the school and were happy to see themselves feature on BBC Breakfastππ.

Today our National 4/5 pupils went on a walking tour around Glasgow Merchant City as well as a visit to Glasgow Cathedral! Great experience to bring History to life for our historians and learn more about Glasgowβs involvement in the Slave Trade.
