CHLDC joins with @nyc_base in honoring those basement residents lost to Hurricane Ida. We will never stop fighting for safe basement apartments.
We continue to remember lives lost to Hurricane Ida today, with community members from East New York & beyond gathering at @CHLDC to contribute to a memorial banner. Stay tuned as our memorial to basement tenants, homeowners, & communities affected by Ida moves across the city.
