We started both the first ever Women’s Refuge for domestic abuse in @dudleymbc area and the first homelessness service. Thank you again @DudleyCVS , we may be 5 years younger than you but we're delighted to have been on this journey together and we love your 70s themed 50th.

For all our staff teams, supporters, volunteers and partners this award is for you! CHADD was started in 1979 by a local vicar and a probation officer as a response to increasing levels of homelessness, poverty and domestic violence.

What a wonderful evening celebrating 50 years of @DudleyCVS . And to top it off CHADD were recognised with the prestigious Abrahams Lindsay Longevity Award for our contribution to providing a safety net and lifeline through all our services over 45 years.

More wonderful support from @TaylorWoodrowUK for our young people. They and @VINCI have donated moving-on boxes so people can decorate their new homes when they finally leave us. It's £170 worth of materials and a note wishing them the best Thank you #dudley @FoyerFederation
