They say this every year. "How long can they sustain this?!?!?". As long as we want, b*tch😭😭.
@CWeatherspoon_ How long can they sustain this model? Amortization almost 200 every year and they are keep buying new players.

This guy is too funny, man.
£52m for a backup. This number absolutely cannot be cash or straightforward installments. No way this isn’t massively loaded up with crazy add-ons (win UCL / Ballon d’Or win). Remember, Chelsea ownership are extremely creative with financials. This deal is happening too quickly.

Liam Delap recieved 7 passes per game at Ipswich – most of which in his own half. You don't think he will have a higher xG purely by being able to hang around the opposition's goal while recieving a significantly higher number of passes from superior players – in the same league?.
@stuffsabsays I've seen many argue that Delap (and Pedro) will have a clear uptick in xG by going from Ipswich & Brighton to a better offensive side at Chelsea. Thats definitely not a given, and not how xG works.

1) Hire Joe Shields and Paul Winstanley to work below me. 2) Let them, with Maresca and myself decide on targets. For me Morgan Rogers, Mike Maignan and Jorrel Hato/Piero Hincapie would be the top 3 players to look at. 3) Loan Penders, Anselmino and Kendry to Strasbourg. 4).
You’re hired the new Sporting Director at Chelsea and given this task on your first day… . 💰 Buy 3 players,.📤 Loan 3, .💸 Sell 3,. What are your moves?

This is what I loved about "Moneyball". How the directors refused to even get to know the players because they didn't want any emotions/personal feelings getting in the way of what SHOULD be objective decision making.
You must constantly re-evaluate players, not get emotionally attached. Assess what you’ve seen so far, their ceiling, the fit in the system & culture, and market opportunities to sell / replace. Not every decision will be right. But you can’t wait to see every player develop.

What's even the point of these release clauses? The agents aren't allowed to mention it to interested clubs and the selling clubs won't even say it even when approached. Man City literally contacted Forest earlier this window and were quoted a fee significantly higher than the.
@JacobsBen These release clauses are funny, next to impossible to trigger and if you do it’s probably because you found out a way you shouldn’t have 🤣.

Spurs' Olise moment lol.
#nffc are considering legal action over what they perceive as an illegal approach from Tottenham in their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White. Deal off as it stands but this one will clearly run and run. More to follow @TeleFootball #thfc.

Trophies won in the last 5 years. Chelsea: 4.Arsenal: 0. Chelsea will also play in a major final on sunday with the chance to make it 5.
Dear Noni Madueke,. We saw how you were celebrating Top 4 with Palmer and friends at Chelsea, it's different here we compete for the biggest trophies and consider finishing second a failure so get familiar.

I hear that but at the same time Nkunku spent practically the entire 23/24 season battling injuries while being shoehorned into a position that didn't fit him for all of last season. In this new system, Nkunku will be platformed correctly – and it's my belief that Nkunku, when.
@CFCMJordan Nkunku covers more positions, but Jackson has performed better in the PL.

For the people like Smiley here who has comprehension issues – the point wasn't that xG is some allmighty measurement stick but rather evidence that it was a tight match up and not some brutal m*rder – something that can be confirmed by anyone who actually watched the game.
