I’m on @TodaywithClaire on @RTERadio1 after 10:15am, speaking with @boucherhayes about the very welcome announcement from Minister @DarraghOBrienTD that a public transport force will be introduced. I’ve long supported this and it’s great news for customers and passengers.

I warmly welcome the next phase of the Dublin City Centre Transport Plan, especially the proposal to make Parliament Street traffic-free for most of the day. More space for walking and cycling is a great step in the right direction.
