👏 The @EU_Commision's Recommendation on Energy Poverty notes for the first time that #EnergyPoverty concerns ALL countries in Europe. ✊ It recognises the VITAL role of #EnergyCommunities in tackling energy poverty, showcasing CEES examples. Our analysis:

To mobilise the #SocialClimateFund, Member States will need to submit Social Climate Plans by 30 June 2025. 🔥 It is VITAL that these plans support structural and empowering measures towards #energy and #climatejustice that serve the most vulnerable

The 🇪🇺 #CleanEnergyPackage recognises #CommunityEnergy = an “effective & cost-efficient way to meet citizen’s needs & boost consumer engagement & participation w/in the energy system,” but doesn't reinforce their role in tackling #energypoverty. Our take:
