Evidence suggests that the benefits of receiving a
#COVID19
vaccine during pregnancy outweighs any known or potential risks and vaccination is essential to protect pregnant people. Read more:
The rise in cases, vaccine hesitancy, and the increased risk of severe illness for pregnant people make vaccination against
#COVID19
more urgent than ever. Read why
@CDCgov
recommends that pregnant people should be vaccinated against COVID-19.
@CDCDirector
A lot of stupid people here… Tylenol is barely researched on actual pregnant humans, over the counter meds are barely researched on actual pregnant humans and guess what? Pregnant people take them allll the time. I didn’t get pregnant and work this hard to keep us healthy to
@CDCDirector
the CDC says it follow science
the CDC also says "pregnant people"
the CDC ignores biology for politics and they want you to trust them on health
do not listen to clowns, it's not science, it's politics.
@CDCDirector
These vaccines haven’t been available long enough to carry a fetus to term, yet you claim to know there are no harmful effects? This is sick, truly.
@CDCDirector
Words are very important...
"Suggests" done NOT mean "concludes"...
You guys shouldn't be able to make these claims until the 3 year study is up.
ALL "evidence" thus far is cherry picked data to support the narrative.
Many independent studies show the vaccine settles in ovaries
@CDCDirector
Why should anybody take your “scientific” advice seriously when you refuse to acknowledge the science of biology by calling us “pregnant people” instead of mothers or pregnant women?
@CDCDirector
This is maybe beside the point, but I hate the fact that we're now normalizing neologisms like "pregnant people". Talk about erasure of women. Only women can get pregnant. How about we just acknowledge that?
@CDCDirector
"Pregnant People"
Nobody taking advice from anyone who refuses to speak normally. Learn to talk to people, not twitter people, normal people. And you'll begin to break thru.
@CDCDirector
Rise in cases, why aren’t you suggesting to keep immigration at bay, reinstate “remain in Mexico”. Suggesting non-FDA Approved vaccines on pregnant women seems completely irresponsible.
@CDCDirector
Interesting because I can’t seem to find anything in the study that says that women have successfully given birth after vaccination. It’s only about the trimesters of pregnancy. Idk maybe I’m blind and just don’t see it...
@CDCDirector
Pregnant people.... since when can men get pregnant, carry a baby to term and successfully deliver a baby and be able to produce milk to breast feed? 🤭🤔
