The article related to this poster is finally published! More than 2 years of tears and sweat after the first submission. It's time for a second thread to go over the content! 1/9. #AcademicTwitter #WomenInSTEM #dundeeuni #qub.
My poster contribution!.This is part of the work that I took part in while at @QUBMathsPhys. My plan is to carry on working on this topic @UoDSciEng to hopefully find a physical explanation for this anomalous motion. This is very perplexing 🤔2/6

The project is still open for application if you are interested!.Deadline is at the end of this month.
If you are a Chinese national or know one who would be interested in doing a PhD on the coupling between polarisation and magnetisation in the oldest multiferroics, application to the CSC scholarships are still open! .

I hope that you have briefed your staff @Ryanair on the Nantes-Manchester flight from yesterday. Emotions were running at 3am and I am not sure they have gone done with 1h30 lying down. #Nightmare.
Do you care to tell us what is happening to the FR6946 from Nantes to Manchester? We are waiting for the coaches for >1h standing in the airport with no information @Ryanair.

@ryanair you may need to train your pilotes to land in "not perfect" weather. Second time in a week that your planes don't manage to land in Nantes when all other planes are fine. .

This is really shocking!. Never published with Elsevier and reconsidering my use of Mendeley.
"Welcome to Hotel Elsevier: you can check-out any time you like … not " - An intriguing, but mostly worrying, blog by @eikofried on practices from Elsevier. We should be skeptical and critical towards these big publishers. via @Bawan@akademienl.social.

What's wrong with you @manairport? You got us used to incredibly long queues at security and now I can get through right away? And with helpful staff?.At least, it's a good start of a travel for me.

At a training in the Tower building @dundeeuni. I have taken all my layers off and I am still too hot. I wonder if the difference of temperature between buildings as to do with who uses them? 🤔.
