50th parkrun today @CChaseparkrun. Thanks to all the volunteers. Got a few compliments on my @runningpunks top. I used my interval watch 2mins running and 30s walk to which I did my fastest mile this year, slowed up toward end. But Strava says my fitness is up 😊 #ukrunchat

We're informed that quite a few people stopped to help and more people reported the incident to the core team which resulted in support and first aid being quickly provided. The runner was bandaged up and sent off to hospital, we'll let you know any updates.

We just wanted to say thanks so much to everyone who stopped to help deal with an incident on course today. A runner took a nasty fall around MP11 resulting in some dramatic facial injuries.
