Jobs data out today. While the WA labour market is still tight by historical standards, there are now genuine signs of a loosening. The unemployment rate ticked up, hours worked decreased, and there was a swing from full-time to part-time. None of this of course unexpected.

Very glad to welcome the State Government’s reforms to environmental approvals today. Now attention turns to the Federal Government’s Nature Positive agenda; now firmly out of step with the policies and ambitions of our great state.
