Happy to welcome @JacopoVanoli and Marcos Quijal as new postdocs to our team! Jacopo works on quantifying health impacts of air pollution and climate-related risks. Marcos focuses on assessing health impacts of environmental exposures using advanced epidemiological models.

Excited to share a glimpse of our field trip to Basse, The Gambia! We collaborated with the MRC Gambia field team to test environmental monitoring devices for the ACTUAL project field study, which aims to advance understanding of environmental factors and their impacts on health.

Last week, our group leader @AnaVicedo9 participated as co-leader (with @AGasparrini75) of the course on “Advanced Methods in Climate Change Epidemiology” at the Swiss Epidemiology Winter School @ISPMBern.
Thanks lot for the excellent group of students and to the teaching office @ISPMBern for the perfect organisation. It has been 3 intense but enriching days! Looking fwd to next year! Hopefully I will try with the skiing this time in the Swiss Alps 😉

A few weeks ago we held our first stakeholder meeting of the NCCS-Impacts-Health project. A very productive meeting, with very useful feedback to continue our research on the impacts of heat on vulnerable populations in Switzerland! See our website for further information!.
