Akin Famewo CB/LB.Age 26. 5β11. Ex Sheffield Wednesday defender. Previously been promoted from league one with them. Offers cover as cb and left back. Great experience. More of a ball playing centre back has had injury issues so would be a rotation option.

Donovan Pines CB.Age 27. 6β4 great in the air something Iβd say we are lacking defensively. Played 24 games for Barnsley last season in league one. Would make a great addition to add some strength to the defence when we need it. Would be a great rotation option.

Bbm should do everything he can to get this lad on loan. Get him in and around the squad and hopefully we can convince him to commit to wales at the same time.

Another good pre-season test as United played two 60-minute games against Cardiff City today. The Bluebirds came out 3-1 and 2-0 winners, with Lavery on the scoresheet.
