Now you know I go for interesting looking people. Maybe one day I’ll tell you about the veterinary student from @universityofga that came to visit our #AgBarn, the cute guitarist, the 2 hopeless straight girl crushes, the artist, or maybe none. 7/7.

I think she saw me for the me that wasn’t spoken of yet. I think she wanted to help me build community-she was in her 30s or 40s at the time. I think back on her with lightness and happiness. 6/7.

She’d tell me to talk to the kids at school. They could direct me to help smoke shop. Maybe if I’d been braver or had friends at the time (I made them later in high school) that would have pushed me, come with me, and understood me.I could’ve tracked her down, but I didn’t. 5/7.

She always came in at night. She’d always come to whatever line I was bagging in and have me help her to the truck she drove. She always bought tons of the biggest dog food bags. She rescued and fostered senior and sick dogs. She’d bring some with her on cool nights. 4/7.

The tattoos were blue and ran all over sun rough skin. The most intricate were around the edges of her earlobes. One could look at and trace those for a lifetime. 3/7.

#MyFirstCrush walked into @Publix when I was 15. I think she may still be one of the must amazingly interesting people I’ve had the pleasure to look upon. She dressed grunge. Sometimes she had hair sometimes not. She had piercings and best of all, #tattoos. 2/7.
