Many thanks to parents who dropped in uniform items last week. From Monday 16th to Friday 20th June, all students/parents, including incoming first years, are welcome to go into the school assembly area between 8am and 8pm and take any item of uniform you require for next year.

We had a beautiful evening last Wednesday celebrating the Graduating Class of 2025 in The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane. It was wonderful to to be able to celebrate this important milestone with an amazing group of young men.

Well done to our Minor Tennis Team, who played in the Division 3 semi-final today against The High School. Unfortunately, the boys narrowly missed out on reaching the final, but they put in a fantastic effort and should be very proud of their performance.

Well done to all our Athletes who competed in the Leinster T& F finals in Tullamore on May 12th. Congratulations to Cillian McMahon who got second in the U/14 500 metres and to our Under 16 Relay team who came Third in Leinster in the 4x 300 metres.

Our 1st year footballers took part in a blitz organised by Louth GAA on the 14th May. Naas CBS won the shield final with captain Jamie Thompson being awarded with a winners plaque & Rían Fay with an award as player of the Tournament. Naas CBS won the shield final on the day

On Tuesday, 36 of our 5th year students enjoyed a day out at Lullymore Heritage Park as part of their Biology studies. In glorious sunshine, they completed their ecology field study.

TY students attended DCU’s TY Specific Open Day on Thursday, May 8th. Students had the opportunity to experience life on a third level campus and attended a wide variety of talks across many subject disciplines including Business, Science, Education, Engineering, Humanities etc.

Naas CBS were well represented in the Kildare branch ISTA Junior Science Quiz held on Wednesday 08th May in St. Mary's Naas. Adam Jafra, Brandon Daly, Tom Hughes, Sharon Soji, T.J Courtney-Cross, Jack Byrne and Josh Conway represented the school wonderfully on the night.

Tuesday saw our chess club members participate in a competition hosted by Piper’s Hill College. CBS Naas students competed against students from Piper’s Hill college, Naas Community College and Holy Family Newbridge.
