"Blood for Blood!" they howled, when called to a massacre. Heroes are few in the Khalistan saga. Terrorists, cops, politicians, courts, media all botched it and, after 50 years, a zombie movement still lurches on. Pre-order the tale here, to ship July 5th.

Fifty years ago, the campaign for a sovereign Sikh state - Khalistan - went global, proclaiming the birth of the new nation with an advertisement in The New York Times on 12 October 1971. The ensuing...

3/3 So what of India's alleged bombs? Some say Parmar used them as a secret Indian agent. But India had outed him as a wanted terrorist; so much for secrecy. And why is he a hero to Khalistanis if he was an enemy agent? It's all nonsense. But, 40 years on, they're stuck with it.

2/3 E.g. 2 of Reyat's bombs were checked in using Parmar's tickets. One blew up at Narita. Judge said 1,600 bits of shrapnel "conclusively" matched items bought by Reyat, like special batteries bought before checkin to keep the bombs ticking. So his were the bombs that blew up.

1/3 So, yes, uninvited Khalistanis did haunt yesterday's Air India memorial in YVR and blamed India for the bombing. But not a word to show what's wrong with the abundant evidence proving otherwise. Is 40 years not enough to devise a plausible answer?.

VANCOUVER, B.C. — June 23, 2025.Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Air India bombing, Canada’s deadliest act of terrorism. Families and friends of the 331 victims gathered at the memorial site in Vancouver under heavy police presence to honour the lives lost in the tragic

Compare that bit of fluff with the rock-solid evidence against Parmar and Reyat - like the latter's three convictions and his test blast with Parmar. And after 40 years, it's past time to tell Canada's Khalistanis to stop. Stop whitewashing mass murder.

Another problem with the blame-India scam is Soft Target, the book said to "prove" India did it. But it only says that an anonymous source said his anonymous sources thought Parmar "may have been" an Indian agent. It proves nothing,

3 trials, 2 inquiries, Reyat's guilty plea and a heap of hard facts leave no doubt that Talwinder Parmar got 2 bombs from Inderjit Reyat, and got the tickets used to check them in. Those were the bombs that blew up, The fantasy Indian gov't bomber? No name , no ticket, no bomb.

40 years now since the Air India massacre. And will the bombers' fans give the families one day to gather and togrieve without the drumbeat of Khalistani lies? No. The ad tells them to go uninvited to the memorial and pretend Khalistanis didn't do it.

No moral here - just that, sometimes, the media pack picks the right darling - in this case, the one who did not lean to murder, bribery and the compulsory sterilization of indigenous people. 35 years on, it still seems it woulda been better if he'd won. RIP Mario Vargas Llosa.

The ruling lefties had woken up at the last minute, howling that Vargas Llosa would slash spending. It would be a "Varga-shock!" A panic erased Vargas Llosa's lead. Fujimori won, adopted Vargas Llosa's policies, then made himself a murderous dictator and ended up in jail.

But our driver had the real scoop. Asked who he'd vote for, he stretched his eyes sideways with his fingers and said, "El Chinito!" Huh? The "little Chinese?" We soon mobbed the family breakfast of a rival deemed an also-ran: an agronomist of Japanese descent, Alberto Fujimori.

Great stuff, and his fans could taste victory, daubing "Mario Peru" on their vehicles. This Quechua girl turned out to greet him in his home town of Arequipa.

CBC rarely covered Latin American elections in my day. But the world media was hot for Mario Vargas Llosa's 1990 presidential campaign in Peru. Ruling leftists tremble as fan of Margaret Thatcher takes big lead in polls! And he writes like a dream!
