Misclassifying wrkrs is not a simple paperwork error. It is a deliberate violation of the law that denies wrkrs earned wages they are legally owed. We are holding employers accountable and ensuring all wrkrs receive the pay they deserve. https://t.co/VjcO3cq7ca

Workers have special rights in emergencies in CA. It is illegal for ER’s to prevent workers from using their phone or leaving work due to concerns about an emergency condition at the worksite, at home or their child’s school. Questions or to report violation call 1-833-526-4636.

YAP educates primarily high school students on workplace right. Too often a 30, 40, 50, 60 year old who is learning their rights and understanding they’ve been violated throughout their employment. We must educate early. Workplace rights are life skills, like reading and writing.
