Humanitarian needs continue to grow. Families need sustained support to stay safe, warm, and able to meet their basic needs with dignity. CARE remains committed to standing with communities across Syria.

CARE and partners rapidly supported newly displaced families with: 🔹cash assistance 🔹bread support 🔹essential NFIs and hygiene kits and winter clothing for children facing freezing temperatures 🔹and access to health services and referrals.

Last month, as violence escalated and new waves of displacement unfolded across #Syria, families were once again forced to flee with little more than what they could carry.

Today, after more than 14 years of crisis in Syria, nearly 2 million people continue to live in camps and informal settlements. The need to stand by them and scale up support is more urgent than ever.

With every storm, the suffering in camps across northern Syria deepens. Over the past two days, heavy rainfall has flooded more than 10 camps in western rural Idlib, affecting over 300 displaced families who were already living in extremely harsh conditions.
