I would like to thank the CAL family for making my last 5 years as head coach memorable. I’m thankful to be leaving the program better than I found it. I’m excited for the next chapter as the GM of @Slugger_Science.

Opening night is CAL night tomorrow 6:30pm at Derby City field home of Spalding baseball. 10% of concessions benefit CAL baseball / softball and 50% of the husky jockey race goes to CAL missions. Come see history first game ever.

I'm not sure I've ever covered high school baseball game in which all six pitchers - 4 from St. X, 2 from CAL - were as talented as last night's. St. X's Ben Tedesco, Quinten Shewmaker, Ty Starke and Luke Lantz and CAL's Jack Perdue and Jacob Price were solid. All college-bound.
