We often say that the C4SI Investment Pool gives people living in poverty “exposure” to capital markets: the better markets do, the more funding available for C4SI $ecurity Cards.

Books are closed on C4SI’s fundraising fiscal year (Nov 1 — Oct 31). C4SI will be distributing $43,425 in debit card value this month to those living in poverty, $8,825 more than 2023, a 25.5% increase! Thank you to all our donors!

Most people living in poverty have little exposure to capital markets. This exacerbates societal inequalities b/c since Jan 1993 the stock market has appreciated 8.23 times the appreciation in wages.
