Oh, to test it, unlike with apple music, you can literally go send it by clicking on the last few seconds of a song. The timer cuts off just before any transition

Also, if you shuffle play, you also delete custom transitions and let spotify decide, which is a... coin flip on success

Spotify is trying to compete against Apple's mix feature, and it's a little bit more sophisticated, but really frustrating to work with. Whenever you change song order, it resets every single transition. Anyway. I tried with my old cocaine house playlist:
