A short update from our QSL manager: last Friday he received the first batch of 4,000 QSL cards, another 5,000 will follow until Christmas. Since then he is busy answering direct requests. QSL and contact info here:

Thanks to everybody who provided us with positive as well as critical constructive feedback. We will take this into account for future activities.

Overall we made nearly 96K QSOs and we are satisfied with the results. We had high hopes for a good 10m opening to Europe. Unfortunately this did not happen. The lowbands were very challenging and we couldn’t work everybody who called us.

Right now it’s 4:40 am in the morning and the C21MM Team is waiting for its flight to VK with connections to Doha / Singapore and later Germany.

C21MM is QRT.

Dismantling will start on Tuesday, October 29 after our sunrise. Until then all stations remain active.

C21MM will participate in the upcoming CQWW DX Contest. Live log will be disabled for this period. Activity will continue on the other bands as well.

Propagation on the highbands seems to improve slowly. Still pretty “local” though. Usually, propagation takes a dip after sunrise but normally it’s not that strong. Bands were dead (except 12m).

Right now we are experiencing some weird propagation. Only 12m is decent. The rest of the highbands are pretty much dead. Fingers crossed…

The 6m FT8 spectrum during the JA - SA opening on 6m during our morning. Unfortunately, no SA for us. Aside from that, we worked a lot of new JAs.

JA is currently working SA on 6m. We are calling CQ and turned the antenna a little more to the east. Right now only JA is coming in strong - which happens basically everyday. So no surprises yet. But you never know when the magic happens. 😉

We just had some unplanned downtime. The coax cable got cut and the mast carrying the beam was thrown over. Fortunately worse things could be prevented. Highbands are up and running again.
