A sad news just before #BugzillaTurns20 in a month. We’ve heard that former @bugzilla lead developer Gerv Markham has passed away. His BzAPI sets made it possible to build @BzDeck and other #Bugzilla clients in early 2010s. RIP, @gerv.

Finally! Looking forward to rebooting our project. @BzDeck is gone, but our app framework and widgets could be part of @bugzilla in the future, creating a rich user experience that @BugzillaUX is seeking.

Due to the browser dependency, it’s very rare to see a quantum leap in websites. @bugzilla’s decade-old frontend implementation and unique user base make it happen. Ultimately, modern web technologies will help create a better #UX. #yallhands #BugzillaQuantum
