New shop is coming along. Quit my job a little over two years ago - put a CNC mill in my garage. It’s cool to see how far we’ve come. Made a lot of progress. Learned a lot. But still a long way to go! Never thought I’d be so excited about an electrical drop.

you have no idea how deep top machine shops in china went with AI. they’ve been training quoting + factory mgmt algorithms for years. only now it’s paying off - massive data sets. they treated factory data as gold for many years. meanwhile in the US, most shops I see don’t care

Everyone blames the OEMs for slow pay. Yeah, their terms suck. At least they tell you up front. It’s your peer SMB’s that hurts. I probably understand more than most. I’ve been dead broke. Communication is key.
