All 15 passengers on board our Expressway coach from Letterkenny to Dublin were safely evacuated after a fire broke out.
This is an exceptionally rare occurrence in our fleet and will be thoroughly investigated. 1/2

Busáras, the first purpose-built bus station, is one of Ireland’s most important modernist buildings. Opened in 1953, it accommodates more than one million passenger journeys each year. Its iconic waved canopy is iconic.

Bus Éireann and the NTA are delighted to mark the 1st year of operation of Ireland’s first all-electric town service in Athlone town.
In its first 12 months the service completed over 530,000 emission-free kms eliminating over 400,000kg of tailpipe C02.
As per our previous post, we want to reassure our customers that all services are running as normal as of yet. Please keep a close eye on our main web page under "Service Updates" and on social media, for the most recent updates from Bus Éireann.
