I didn’t become a DJ for parties or spotlight. Back in 1998 (8th grade) on vinyl. Crates, turntables, and a feeling I couldn’t ignore. I needed a way to express how I saw music when I heard it. DJing helped me breathe again. The booth became my sanctuary. Not fame but wholeness.

Me and @ eastsidecory (DJ Good Grief) go back 15+ years. Not just a peer—this is family. One of the most solid and consistent DJs I know. Pulled up tonight to vibe and show love. Had to remind him what he means to the culture… and to me. Love you, bro.

They’ll say you’re too much when your truth makes them uncomfortable. Too intense. Too different. Too honest. But that’s only because they’ve spent their lives dimming down. Be too much. It means you’re finally being enough.
