We know they do like Yankoff (who btw was a legendary HS athlete in Idaho). I think more patience with Sinnott is appropriate. But sure, if 16 months of both is enough for staff to know that the undrafted guy is clearly better, toss out the draft status and react accordingly.
@BurgundyBlog Yankoff the kid from UCLA looks like a much better athlete and route runner than Sinnott to me. Plus he's a demon on teams. If there's a numbers crunch and they can't keep them both I'd trade Sinnott before cutting Yankoff.

So the starters looked pretty good in one game, and the backups have looked pretty bad in all three games. What does it mean? I just don’t believe any preseason means much of anything. The goals are different.

Josh Johnson has crushed Hartman in the QB3 battle, but I would guess AP prefers a young backup to develop, as evidenced by the year-long effort with Hartman. I could see him dropping both and scooping a released rookie or Y2 guy from elsewhere.

Robinson is obviously gone. If we know it, 32 teams know it. That, plus him being mid, means you’re not gonna do better than a 7th or a late pick swap, and more likely cut for nothing.
