On Tuesday, I joined the staff of @914cares to present a ceremonial check representing a $30,000 state grant I was honored to provide to help support the organization's diaper bank program. My thanks to this tremendous nonprofit for all they do to help our neighbors in need.

Last week, on a delightful and crisp fall day, @bedfordaudubon provided a tour of its accessibility trail adjacent to their Bylane Farm headquarters in Katonah. The trail provides a level and smooth path encircling a native habitat garden.

The discussion centered on the “Bell to Bell” restrictions on smartphones and other internet-enabled devices, as well as the SAFE for Kids Act, which requires social media companies to restrict addictive social media feeds for users under 18, unless given parental consent. 2/2

It was a joyful occasion at the ribbon-cutting for the new headquarters of Neighbors Link. They were bursting at the seams in their old location and the additional space and significantly improved layout enables the organization to much more effectively carry out its mission.
