once you start seeing incentives instead of "good vs evil" the world makes so much more sense

cloned myself. voice, personality, how i think. now i call it on the phone when i'm bored. had a 15 minute conversation with myself yesterday. completely normal behavior.

It’s impossible to be friends with somebody that has opposing political views.

Nothing is worse than stripping a screw, especially on some critical part and now you’re forced to spend the next four hours of your life Tryna undo what you just caused.

built a system that watches video and detects when someone's uncomfortable. gaze aversion, fidgeting, self-touch. the ai now knows when i'm lying to myself.

i made a facetime santa that fools kids and adults. only problem is i trained it on myself so instead of gifts it just explains the history of bananas. families are confused. i regret nothing.

my 4-year-old sister just spent 30 minutes talking to the santa clone i built. she had no idea. asked it for presents, told it about her day. the AI just kept going. i watched the whole thing happen.

> building something and trying to figure out where it's most useful. imagine an ai clone of yourself… not an assistant, but something that actually reasons like you. handles your inbox, texts on your behalf, orders things you'd order. > > what would you hand off to it first?

If you're interested in watching someone try to clone human cognition in real time, now's early.

the ai texted my brother pretending to be me. he didn't notice for 4 messages. we're getting dangerously close.

May your code compile, your batteries outlive their specs, and the things that shouldn’t work… keep working anyway.
