Behind-The-Scenes, Shop Edition

weekend adventuring, McKenzie gear in tow.

They say that the kitchen is the heart of the home. And we have to believe it's true. This is a shot of a new kitchen we completed for a beautiful home in Pinecrest. The open design is warm and inviting, creating a space for the whole family to gather round.

McKenzie was selected as executive architect and general contractor for @centralfare, the upcoming food hall at Miami Central Station. “We’re excited to be a part of this beautiful, pioneering lifestyle project in the heart of Downtown Miami." -Gavin McKenzie, Owner and CEO

We are looking forward to the arrival of our new neighbor, The @RubellMiami Family Collection. McKenzie has just begun construction on the 100,000 square-foot museum where we are the local architect and builder of the new space, set on a 2.5 acre campus here in Allapattah.

When it came to the design of these custom cabanas for @slsluxbrickelll, we chose to clad entirely in ipe-- a beautiful exotic wood from South America that also happens to be one of the densest.

Mid-Production. Nilas is TIG welding steel frames. This is a process which uses an electrode to produce the weld.

It’s always a special feeling to see our shop creations come to life. Custom laser-cut steel sheets, a floating marble clad desk, and pink hued mirror screens line the lobby of the brand-new @SLSLUXBrickell.
