Using Vince's thesis as an initial framing for discussion, we had a wide-ranging discussion about the tangled intersections of self-development, spirituality, awakening, politics, and social and ethical responsibility:
Thesis: TPOT functions as a spiritual expression of Trump-era neofascism: a postmodern political religion that sacralizes collapse and rebirth, aestheticizes politics through memes and irony, and binds insiders through a shared gnosis of transcendence against “normie” masses.
