“Cliff and Grace get married and have a baby, an accident, this spreadsheet man. Ending him is not in their values, plus they love him, so they need more money forever.” Read two new stories by Selen Ozturk (@writingenjoyer): https://t.co/YkNIosemMz

“Lou rushed to the vet’s office ready to punch the thief between the eyes. But the thief turned out to be a sweet old lady with a walker, who said the cat had shown up on her porch one misty morning years before.” From “Skyhawks” by @Bud_Smith.

Currently reading The Iliad for 1st time. Rules. Duh. Didn’t know it starts in media res, has no Trojan horse, and doesn’t get into Achilles heel/last stand. Emily Wilson translation. I’ll read pieces of Fagle’s Aeneid for Trojan horse and Ovid’s Metamorphoses for Achilles 💀

Re-watched Escape from New York Last Night. Then found out the novelization from 1981 has scenes of Snake Plisken fighting WWIII, losing his eye, robbing the federal reserve. Got the PDF from the internet archive. Thanks again, John Carpenter. I❤️U

Three little pigs. Well actually, they were quite big. I love this. Visiting England this weekend from London and seeing pigs wandering around everywhere in the New Forest. They’re Pannaging. Domestic pigs are released to eat acorns, chestnuts and beech mast. It protects ponies
