Two lesser known Ultimate tips out of the goodness of my heart:. 1. Up smashing out of shield with left stick up + grab guarantees that you can’t accidentally charge and lose valuable frames to punish. If you’ve ever wondered why Tweek’s usmashes oos look so damn crispy it’s.

Now I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s because we care etc etc it’s most definitely because we have to have one cause online ultimate is unplayable. But a local scene is so much better than just grinding ranked for any game.

I have no opinion on the rant itself, but this may be the only thing that smash has better over the rest of the FGC. Thriving local scenes literally everywhere.

Do you guys wanna see something really funny. So I shield the initial leaf shield and am now susceptible to the projectile shield poking me bc lucas got a big head. Get this, I tilt my shield up, AND IT SHIELD POKES MY LEGS. DUDE ARE YOU SERIOUS

This was a great read, it was a good decision on RJ’s part to be transparent with this stuff considering the backlash collision was initially receiving. Even though I was only there for one day, I had a great time and the tournament was put together incredibly well.

What stuck out to me is that RJ took out a loan to ensure the rest of the staff would not be financially impacted if the event stayed negative. Shows the type of leader he is to take on the risk, esp since we see how often staff get screwed over when an event goes belly up
