When men are challenged, they rise. When men rise, families strengthen. When families strengthen, churches thrive. Pastors — if you want more men in your church, teach them the standard. They’ll rise to meet it. #HalftimeAdjustment #AuthenticManhood #MensMinistry

So if you want more men in your church, then from the pulpit — every Sunday —speak to them. Encourage them. Challenge them. Equip them.

Teach them how to be fathers according to: Deuteronomy 6 Psalm 78 Psalm 127 Psalm 128 Ephesians 5–6 Men need to know what biblical fatherhood looks like.

Teach them what it looks like to follow Jesus as a man — wholeheartedly. Teach them how to love their wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her.

Men need to be challenged. Men need to be pushed. Men need to be elevated, equipped, and edified. If you want men to rise up — you’ve got to show them what the standard is.

They don’t challenge them. They don’t equip them. They don’t teach them the basic principles of biblical masculinity. Men need that.

I’ve worked with a lot of pastors who say they want more men engaged — more men showing up, leading, and serving. But here’s the truth: most never speak directly to men from the pulpit.
