FOOTBALL: Casuals may be familiar with the Boman Bros. but the @ClarkstonWolves' offensive cast shared the spotlight early and often throughout Friday's district title victory over Grand Blanc, writes @BryanEversonOP >> https://t.co/l5WFsThJ7d

Wasn't talked about enough how much he propped up their outside shooting last year when they sorely lacked reliability from distance.

What a game for Oakland soph Nassim Mashhour, a soph from Dearborn. He scored 15 on 6-12 fgs and 3-8 3s in 10-point loss at Purdue. By comparison Purdue senior Fletcher Loyer had 15 points on 5-11 fgs and 3-7 3s.

Not sure how I can ever misspell Alex's name -- I've typed the name of former Arsenal GK Wojciech Szczesny so many times

@aidanoneillll @MIPrepZone Morrow with great touch on 28-yard TD pass to Kemp, then 2-point conversion pass to Caseton Sendry is good as well for Grand Blanc. Clarkston's lead cut to eight, but only briefly as an endaround to Hank Hornung goes 70 yards for a score just 19 seconds later. 37-22 Wolves

@aidanoneillll @MIPrepZone Gabe Mansour with a sack on Grand Blanc's drive that opens the second half and sets Clarkston up with a short field following a punt. It’s not real until the little guy is able to punch back to the big guys run. Oakland was down 9, and now threes by Brett White and Brody Robinson have cut it to 56-55. 12:17 to play
