This just misses the real issue which is spending. Spending has increased half a billion dollars in the last three years. Also Arkansas spends more per citizen than surrounding states. @nhhorton your heroes are waste, fraud and abuse spenders. Look at the prison scam for example.
After no tax cuts in Arkansas’s regular legislative session and a surplus of this size, the path forward is clear: the governor should call a special session and send this money back to hard working Arkansans—and put Arkansas on a clear path to full elimination!. As states around.

I remember when republicans bashed democrats for high filing fees . This is downright ridiculous . So if raising a fee equals raising a tax then they just raised taxes on running for office .
