Bruton Library has received its official book of condolence and we welcome all who wish to leave their messages of condolence to do so. The book will be available during library opening hours over the period of national mourning.

If you need a bit of help with computing skills we have these wonderful 'drop-in sessions' starting on Saturday 3rd September (and continuing on first Saturday of every month) at the Library in Bruton. Do tell anyone you think might need to know.

We have put a lot of effort into making the library a safe environment for you. We will very much appreciate your understanding when we use the new systems we have put in place. Please note that face coverings are now required in libraries at all times... 1/2

At the moment in Bruton Library the public network computer is only available on Friday afternoons for 1 hour slots and must be pre-booked by emailing brulib@somerset.gov.uk or librariesmail@somerset.gov.uk.

During the new 'Order and Collect' way of operating in Bruton, you can order anything from our library shelves including books, large print, audiobooks and DVDs. No charges or fines will be issued for any items borrowed and you can still use the great e-services.

Good News! Bruton Community Library is now open. There are a few changes: we will operate a 1-in-1-out policy and will have the our new Order & Collect service. Simply either fill out a form online at Somerset Libaries, by calling 0300 123 2224 or pick up a form in the Library.
