Partnering up the with team @_beyondphysical has had a brilliant impact on our PE delivery. A fantastic approach to the curriculum engaging, physical, social, cognitive and personal skills. It has been fun adapting some of these themes to our context and students. @BarnetSport
Thinking of a new curriculum? New approach? Engaging? Innovative? Fun? Imagine this on your PE board! Have a look for yourself ๐ https://t.co/vbcEjJrkjf

When a full country realises sport specific approach isnโt working...they create an impactful curriculum & send to EVERY single school. Imagine if that happened here! Despite it being research informed thereโd be carnage โwhat do you mean we arenโt playing football for 6 weeks?โ
MoveWell, a games-based resource for PE, has now been published and is being provided to all NZ primary schools. Thrilled to see this 2-year project finally become available. You can download a pdf of the resource from

Some brilliant use of agility and tactics from year 3 earlier this week. They came up with lots of creative ways to dodge past the guardians. I was so impressed with their discussion around how to work together inspired by learning concepts from @_beyondphysical #physed #pesspa

We really enjoyed exploring concepts of competition in year 1 today, inspired by ideas from @_beyondphysical. Some great discussions around attitudes and reactions when we win and lose in competiton before showing their ideas in action through our throwing duels.

A brilliant activation activity inspired by @_beyondphysical. Our year 6s loved Starting the lesson by dribbling the basketball with the aim of keeping it out of the spider's web. Lots of thoughts about strategies to outwit our opponents and ways to adapt the game @Brunswick_PE
