The study (funded by @bialfoundation) conducted by research team @BrunelCCN and @bhupro shows that regular meditation practice affects sensorimotor processing. Meditators reporting non-dual awareness during practice showed superior sensorimotor gating, relative to those without.

The findings suggest that blood lactate is a mediator of the effects of acute exercise on executive function. This mediation effect is evident from a behavioural, but not neuro-electric standpoint.
