Boycott Birmingham Pride As a queer radical collective we fully support Outcast Stomp Brum's call for a boycott of Birmingham Pride until they drop their sponsorships from companies complicit in Palestinian genocide. (all slides are Outcast Stomp's)

It means that a community being strong, organised, and willing to fight back is the truest expression of antifascism. 16/

A phrase which comes up a lot within Antifascist Scenes is "antifascism is community self defence". This cannot mean that an organisation of self declared Antifascists gets to decide they are the community and to defend themselves or defend others on their behalf. 15/

To be totally honest a lot of people scarred by the violent targeting of their community have been watching that video on loop and are fucking proud of their boys. 13/

Or is it a show of community strength, resistance, and solidarity which can inspire others to do the same and make the fascists more afraid of attempting further pogroms and to push back against white supremacy? 12/

Is it counterproductive for the fascists to have seen that local Asian lads are willing and able to mobilise, and are skilled fighters? Is it counter productive for others within community to have seen this? 11/

This is antifascist violence, people taking a stand against the racism at the heart of Britain. Or is Antifascist Violence only to be celebrated and not deemed as bad optics when white people do it from within their cliquey Anarchist Vanguards? 10/

This should be blindingly obvious to everyone after Southport. The videos circulating of people beating up a man outside a pub are in direct response to that man being a racist prick who fucked around and found out. Even the pub managers admit this. https://t.co/5p107JK87G 9/
‘He’s barred’ says manager of Birmingham pub to man who was attacked there yesterday. Linda Ward says the man had goaded his attackers. We understand he used offensive language as Asian men walked past who then beat him up. I understand he has visited hospital since the attack

And the total victim blaming nature of the comments about fascist propaganda is what we should expect from such a rape apologist organisation, but for everyone else: Fascists don't and have never needed truth to propagandise. 8/

Fascists then cried false flag and said "Birmingham isnt our area" despite a lot of efforts put in by them to mobilise ahead of time. 7/

With the utmost disrespect, you were not in Birmingham 2 days ago. To claim it was a false flag is to play into the fascist narratives. They attempted to mobilise, but ran off piss scared when they saw how many of the Muslim community and allies had come out to resist them. 6/

It is textbook white saviourism to say that we as Antifascists get to decide what threats we deem serious enough to get passed onto wider affected communities. 5/

These screenshots were being shared around by well meaning white folk yes but they were being shared within Muslim communities - to protect themselves. 4/

Frankly that is not good enough. Currently, Antifascist scenes are overwhelmingly white. We are not the ones being targeted by pogroms, we do not get to dictate what the affected communities do with information about direct threats on their lives. 3/

It positions the Antifascist (capitalisation is intentional) as the arbiter of safety, and of decision making. It positions the Organised Antifascist as the only ones trained enough to handle delicate information. 2/

First off, AFed protects the rapist Rhyddical and we've had issues with them before trying to muscle into Birmingham scenes when no anarchist wants them here. This thread shows one of the major issues we see with current models of antifascist organising: 1/17
REGARDING THE LIST OF FAR RIGHT TARGETS FOR TOMORROW It's been a bit of a faux-pas the sharing of the list and group. Not looking to blame anyone, things are heated and moving fast and folk doing their best to keep communities safe. When this infomation come into your hands 1/

A racist with baseball batt pulled up to cyclists on the big ride for Palestine in Birmingham today. He also threatened to call his boys, set a dog on them. He also called them the P word.
