happy Friday from micro rounds!.an immunocompromised patient with high fevers, hypoxia and organ disfunction grows these colonies on charcoal yeast agar (but not regular agar) from a BAL sample….you guessed it!.Legionella pneumophila 🧫🔬.rare to get such a good gram stain 🙌
