John Wood the Elder, architectural genius behind much of Georgian Bath, was a freemason who had masonic symbols carved into many of his buildings. On a grander scale, his masterpiece, The Circus, intentionally forms a key shape with neighbouring Queens Sq and Gay St. @PGLSomerset

What a lovely day at @UGLE_GrandLodge Quarterly Communication. Some common sense from the Pro Grand Master, some banter with old friends, a few new friends, and maybe even a wee drink or two. Something around 1200 people dining. And we didn't need to go into London either.
