If we can’t make edible insects taste delicious, then changing people’s perception and behavior will be futile. I love how they can give familiar foods a magical je nais se quois like the formic acid in black ants & chili grasshoppers to enhance these deviled eggs was pure magic!

After returning from Ecuador earlier this year, I told myself that I MUST go to Thailand asap. Happy to report that I'll be going to work there this summer. More details soon, but I was so excited that I had to tweet it or implode with excitement!.

It’s cold and rainy out in NYC today, and it has me day dreaming of warmer weather or my most comforting broccoli soup featuring grasshoppers, black ants, aged white cheddar, chili peppers, and spices. Special thanks to Mona Krive for this beautiful illustration of my dish.

Is this mango better or worse with the both the flavor and textural additions of manchurian scorpion, black ants, chili grasshoppers, mezcal worms, gusano salt, and mint crystals?

Cream of mushroom soup with mealworm powder, parsley, and homemade pickled peppers. It always makes me happy to eat my fermented goods from the summer during the winter time and has me looking forward to the spring! Hope you had an amazingly inspired and productive week.

I personally like my chocolate chip cookies with a crispy bottom and a chewy center. Oh, and with black ants, cricket powder, and spicy grasshoppers. How about you?
