We have been quiet recently on social media, but been very busy across the business for our clients with a range of #timberharvesting and some sizable #woodlandcreation sites. Its great to work on woodlands through their life and design and plant woodlands for the next generation

Some very skillful felling happing on site this week , avoiding damage to natural regen whilst felling large and mature pine. A great example of good operators taking care and thought to leave a site presentable even prior to reinstatement. #howegrown #forestry # professional

As forestry has many perceptions we think it is critical to inform people of what we do in #UKforestry and why we do it. Essentially to #sustainably manage a #naturalresource to ensure we have woodlands for future generations.

On site this week to check on progress of some lovely thinning @bradfordestates. Best practice thinning, which removes the poor quality trees to allow the best specimens to flourish: increasing their girth and sequestering more carbon. #staffordshire #shropshirebusiness

Thinning of woodlands is essential to maximising value but also maximising the quality of homegrown timber for use in construction. Thinning allows the tree to flex and as a result increase girth whilst gaining access to more nutrients and water. #forestry #homegrown

As Ash dieback spreads we have been busy harvesting sites throughout Wales and the Midlands before the health of the trees makes working the sites too dangerous. Maximising returns by cutting various products in a similar methodology to softwoods. #forestry #homegorown

Nature is a wonderful thing. These formerly two trees are now co-dependent for stability. Nature is the solution to our climate crisis. We just need to learn from it and use it to de carbonise the world. #trees #forestry #homegrown
