Just for fun, I ran a big batch of tasks on my machine vs. a cloud API. The difference is wild. - Cloud API: $7.50.- My PC: Like, 12 cents in electricity. The hardware pays for itself, and you get total privacy as a free bonus. Hard to argue with that.
