3 years ago today I was broken, suicidal, and addicted to multiple substances. I asked for help one last time, and went to treatment
Honestly, I never thought I could live w/o drugs or alcohol, and even if I did, I figured I wouldn't be happy
But, today I'm happy AND sober 🥳

I'm trying to train myself to thoroughly think through my turns, taking everything into account. I have this post-it up while playing. My win rate has definitely gone up since I started referring to this. Any other ways you remind yourself to slow down & consider everything?

It still really bothers me when I visit a stream and a streamer is referring to the opponent ALWAYS as "HE." This isn't meant to be a subtweet, but we can do better about this. We should be doing better about this.

I spent $21 on gems + did one sealed pre re, ran cold (it's Bo1?) 2-3, not enough gems to enter another.
On MTGO at least my cards have value and it's Bo3

I started playing Monday w my own Sultai brew, and came in at Mythic 888 tonight.
Idk if Sultai is the best deck in standard right now, but it is really fun to play 🥳

This is the first season of the VML that I made testing a priority. It is really hard to have Pioneer & Modern RCQs you are testing for, and also a VML standard match, but VML came first!
And it paid off - First seed going into the playoffs with a regular season record of 7-0
