Owing to a hiccup of a language barrier, instead of opening our advent calendar today, one of our staff opened the cheetah enclosure (the words for advent and enclosure are very similar in Portuguese). If anyone sees a pair of cheetahs, please hand them into Lost Property.

Many of our animals live around Cotham, Montpelier, Easton (Clifton rents are unreasonably high) so the eagle-eyed amongst you may see some of our animal employees making their way out the back door after a long day at the office, and across the city to their homes and families.
@KYPBristol @BristolZooGdns @BristolZoo I think opening the gates and letting the animals out might be something to be regretted 🤭
