We were at Eat:Chipping Sodbury Last Saturday!🌭 .With a tactical position next-door to the sausage roll stand, we engaged with local foodies on the importance work that BART does. Many thanks to the Environment Agency for funding this Bristol Frome based project.

During the last week of the school holidays we ran two River dip sessions in Manor woods and Nightingale valley. 🐟 🦂 .The kids (and adults) got the opportunity to learn how to perform kick-samples to catch riverfly and other small river fauna, exactly as our ecologists do.

We visited @belmont_estate's Watercress Farm Site with our Wessex Water Guardians. It was incredibly interesting to see how their rewilding and nature recovery is progressing, particularly the river meandering. Thanks to Belmont for providing such an enriching experience!

Eighteen months ago, we installed berms in the Stoke Brook. Plant, invertebrate, and fish life have all blossomed here by simply making the flow more diverse. This progress shows the impact that small, nature-based interventions can have. Wait for the AFTER!
