Sad to read John Motson has died. He was a great special guest and speaker for a @BrightonRA meeting when I was Chairman. Somehow the event clashed with a wake, with lots of rowdy mourners. He was a true professional throughout the disturbances. May the Sheepskin coat man RIP

@RefsAssociation I strongly support this. Most Referees who have been successful have come through membership of and attended local Referee Association meetings. Meet colleagues of all levels, seek and get advice.
