We're a long way from March of 2018 and the forecast is a bit different, but the message is the same! Snow is still coming down.

Tomorrow's forecast calls for heavy, wet snow. Please drive with caution, and give our highway crews room as they work to keep our highways safe. #DontCrowdThePlow

The original plan was to live stream Capt. Hutchings receiving the vaccine to show a little about the process. One small “problem” it is so efficient and well run that I didn’t even have a chance to pull out my phone. We will find a different way to answer your questions soon!

Workers were not previously included at first, which led to pushback. Now, with the plans changed, a local ambulance district we spoke to says it is taking an educational approach.

Highest cases ever locally. We want to safely care for you. If you're symptomatic, please tell our team. The State doesn't view our profession as high risk, but our work environment is not controlled like a healthcare facility. EMS is at the highest risk.

Please explain how #EMS is not a high-risk healthcare worker. In the back of a box transporting the sickest COVID patients in uncontrolled situations.

As outlined in New York's vaccination program, high-risk health care workers, nursing home residents & staff are prioritized first to receive the vaccine, followed by other long-term & congregate care staff & residents & EMS & other health care workers.
